The fourth edition of the Wired Next Fest, organized by Wired Italia, begins, and I was honored to take care of the graphic adaptations of communication on the different media. It will be three days to experience innovation in the economy, science, politics, entertainment, and culture. Milan and Florence turn into a weekend in the science and technology park. Over 150 performers, art performers, 3D print labs, flying drones, video games, movies, documentaries, workplace speeds, coding marathons and workshops for all ages. In Milan from 27 to 29 May, in Florence on 17 and 18 September.

The design of the new Wired Italia has been awarded four important awards. David Moretti and Massimo Pitis have retired gold in the following categories: Redesign / Entire Issue (thus rewarded the redesign as a whole, surpassing that of the New York Times Magazine, a true matador and this silver edition for this section); Design Section (for the original design of section opening numbers); and Silver for Jamie XX’s Astral Jukebox Intervention Opening Design.
